Get Into Work - your advice and tips guide
The content of the Into Work guide covers all key aspects of jobsearching and is designed as a tool for you to use when supporting clients seeking work. It can be used in different ways, either working through the sections stage by stage or picking out one or two relevant sections. Most sections have exercises to work through and advice and tips.

Childcare Matters
A new handbook for frontline employability workers and other professionals supporting parents into employment, training, education and volunteering. This handbook helps workers to understand better the different childcare options available to parents, the costs of childcare and what financial support is available.

Please complete a daily report to be completed after every Info Point session and email to Shona McAllister and Brian Robertson
Any health and safety concerns or other incidents should be logged on the daily report. Further guidance is included on the daily report itself via the comments boxes.
From January 2012, quarterly reports should also be completed, using the template below. If you have any questions about using this template, please contact Shona or Brian.

Energy Action Scotland toolkit for advisers
EAS recently produced an online fuel poverty Toolkit. It’s aimed at front line Advisors/staff from a wide range of organisations. Fuel costs and debts are increasingly an issue for everyone. The Toolkit is intended to provide support and information relating to energy efficiency and fuel poverty.
The Advisors Toolkit is free to use and can be accessed by following this link.
edinburgh4community
edinburgh4community is a new online service for grant finding, which allows you to search through hundreds of Government, Lottery, charitable trust and other funds available on a European, national, regional and local basis. It provides information about funding for individuals, charities, community groups, social enterprises and voluntary organisations.
edinburgh4community can be used at home and from the library and can be found on Your Library at http://yourlibrary.edinburgh.gov.uk/grants. Users will need to register on the site the first time they use it.
This service is a replacement for Funderfinder.
