Learning

Learning can take a variety of forms. People may want to gain new skills and qualifications, or acquire knowledge and learn for personal interest and development.

This section lists all the City of Edinburgh Council’s Community Learning and Development services, including help with reading, writing and numbers, English as a Second Language (ESOL), and others.

There is also a list of other organisations providing a wide range of learning opportunities from IT to music and the arts. as well as details of local further education colleges.

The organisations listed here provide learning as their main service. You may, however, find other relevant organisations providing training opportunities listed in the Employment section. See also “You may also be interested in…” on this page.
