Health

Being unwell for a long time, whether as a result of a physical health condition, a mental health condition or a disability, can be both frustrating and debilitating, and can impact on other areas of a person’s life, such as employment, money or housing.

Anyone worried about their health should contact their GP in the first instance. However, the following organisations can provide support, information and advice to people experiencing difficulties as a result of a health condition.

The Learning, Employment, Money Matters or Housing sections of this Guide may also be of interest and give details of other sources of support and help for people with a health condition. See also “You may also be interested in…” on this page.
